MedTech Technological Park
The Institute of Innovative Medicine, together with local and institutional partners, technology manufacturers, and national and international experts, is implementing a program to establish and equip the MedTech Technological Park. The park spans over 18,000 square meters and aims to foster innovation and collaboration in the field of medical technology. This initiative brings together various stakeholders to create a hub for research, development, and implementation of cutting-edge medical technologies. The MedTech Technological Park is envisioned as a catalyst for advancements in healthcare and a platform for driving progress in the medical industry.
The MedTech & Longevity Innovation Cluster Industrial-Technological Park is an innovative facility and a medical informatics ecosystem aimed at conducting research on longevity and implementing international technological innovations and scientific discoveries that enhance the quality and length of healthy life. It also focuses on the development of next-generation precision medicine. The cluster's areas of operation rank among the top three in the list of National Smart Specializations. This initiative brings together various stakeholders, including researchers, technologists, and healthcare professionals, to drive advancements in longevity research, technology adoption, and precision medicine. The goal is to improve the quality of life and promote healthy aging through cutting-edge innovations and interdisciplinary collaborations.

The establishment of the park aligns with the National Smart Specializations list, as well as the goals of the National Development Plan, National Recovery Plan, national strategies, and recommendations from the World Bank and the EU. It is a response to both national and international challenges in implementing digitalization and precision medicine. The aim of the park is to improve health indicators in Poland and Central and Eastern European countries following the period of the Covid-19 pandemic. By focusing on digitalization and precision medicine, the park seeks to address these challenges and contribute to enhancing healthcare outcomes and promoting advancements in healthcare technology and practices.
The park integrates units and areas through functional cooperation groups.
Professor Mieczysław Pasowicz, together with the Institute of Innovative Medicine, is the author and initiator of the creation of the MedTech Technological Park.
